The Ward H. Willits Residence, 1445 Sheridan Rd., was constructed in 1901 and is the first house in true Prairie style. This house has been designated by the American Institute of Architects as one of seventeen buildings designed by Wright to be retained as an example of his architectural contribution to American culture.
