Wiglaf, King of Mercia succeeded to the title of King Wiglaf of Mercia in 827. He was deposed as King of Mercia, expelled when Ecgberht, King of Wessex, conquered Mercia in 829. He succeeded to the title of King Wiglaf of Mercia in 830.
