Drahomira of Stodor 1
Wencelas was raised a Christian by his grandmother St. Ludmila, but his ambitious mother, Drahomíra (Dragomir), a pagan, had her murdered and acted as regent herself, until Wenceslas came of age in 924 or 925.
Drahomira married Vratislav I Duke of Bohemia, son of Borivoj I Duke of Bohemia and Saint Ludmila 'the Holy' of Mielnick, on an unknown date. (Vratislav I Duke of Bohemia died in 921 2.) |
