Adele or Adelaide of Aquitaine (or Adelaide of Poitiers) was the daughter of William III of Aquitaine and Adele of Normandy. Adélaïde married Hugues 'Capet' Roi de France, son of Hugues 'le Grand' Duc de France and Hedwig von Sachsen, in 968.1 (Hugues 'Capet' Roi de France was born about 938,3 died on 24 Oct 996 in Paris, France 2 and was buried in St-Denis, Île-de-France, France.) |
