"Moses, 1st, married Elizabeth Knapp of Danbury about 1740. She was the daughter of Ebenezer and Elizabeth Knapp of Danbury. Her mother's name was Benedict. The Knapp's and Benedict's were among the first settlers of Danbury. The latter were from Norwalk."
