Our beautiful, independent Skuzzy went to the Rainbow Bridge on February 6, 2009. We enjoyed nearly 18 years with her, and things won't be the same around here without her. We are leaving her page up as a remembrance of our diva, Skuzzy.

I'm Skuzzy --the Diva Kitty . . .
|
| Judy thinks I'm a little princess, but Robert named me Skuzzy so I wouldn't get too stuck up (as if...). Sleeping in my favorite spot is what I do best, and I pick a new favorite spot every two weeks or so. Sometimes my humans think that I never move from my favorite spot until I'm ready to pick a new one. |

Mother was a furry beautiful kitty (I like to think), and Father was the handsome tom cat from down the street --it was true love, their humans couldn't keep them apart. I take after Mother, of course. She lived with someone Judy knew at the office, and, when I was big enough, Mother sent me to live with Judy and Robert. I guess there were too many cats in her house. Anyhow, that was seventeen years ago --in August. I'm still in terrific shape for my age, I guess that's because I never overexert myself... |

Don't you just love my gaah-den? (That's Southern drawl for "the place where the trees and ferns grow." I'm bilingual and quite fluent in Yankee too.) |

I'm always able to find a sunny window for soaking up the Florida sunshine. Although I loved our old house, the new condo is just the purrfect place for this princess kitty. |

In 1999, I entered the BFCC Halloween Costume Contest with my friend Leo. We were "Cinderella and Prince Charming." We won the award for "Most Elegant Couple" ---which we most definitely were... Those were the good old days, when we were young and carefree and gorgeous...
