Hello, my name is Skuzzy (my friends call me Fur-Elisa). I'm the artistic member of Cats In The House and curator of this virtual exhibit entitled "Cats In Art."
Until recent times and the invention of the camera, most artists failed to recognize what wonderful models we domestic kitties can be. Perhaps they were too impressed with their paintings and carvings of lions and tigers to notice us. Or, maybe we just couldn't see the point in sitting still for hours while some artist painted our whiskers in meticulous detail so we declined to cooperate. |
